Manvendra Singh was born in 2000 in the village of Sambhar Lake, in Rajasthan, India. He is a contemporary poet who bridges the gap between reveries and reality, where life makes its balance. He grew up moving between villages, towns, and cities, carrying stories, melancholy, and fire with him.
He began his writing in 2018. He is young and self-published his first book— तिलिस्म और मस्कनत in 2024— a compilation of poetry and prose. He is not dead yet; he is still writing and working on two upcoming books— Tranquility and तसव्वुर और तक़दीर, in which he continues to explore his poetic landscape.
He often says, “Art is a blessing and it travels through us and not by us.”
You will see his writings in Hindi, Urdu, and English. As he believes, Hindi is the heart, Urdu is passion, and English is raw honesty. His work drifts between forms, from ghazals to free verse, from nazms to fragmented prose.
The story is still unfolding and you’re here for it.
